Family Tide Pool: Kendra's Birthday

Today is the 23rd anniversary of a very special day in my life. The birth of my 3rd child Kendra Ann. I am so grateful for her and for the joy and laughter she brings to my heart and life. She is a special person and you can't keep from smiling when you are around her!

I love you Keni and I'm so proud of you and proud to be your Daddy!! You have brought so much happiness to my days in so many ways from feeding you in the high chair to feeding you at Cafe Rio and all of the moments in between! Make this a wonderful day and continue to brighten the world with your beautiful smile!!

Happy 23rd Birthday!!

Personal Tide Pool: 4th of July

It's been a really nice 4th of July weekend! I went surfing on Wednesday as to beat the weekend crowd (a good call) and it was really fun!  I'm glad I can still get my old body out there and slash it up (the waves that is)! The sunset was spectacular!! Yesterday was very relaxed. I enjoyed a BBQ with Kyle and then saw "Get Smart" (It was OK). We exited the theater just in time to watch the fireworks display right here in town and I have to say it was quite impressive! I capped off the evening by eating a bowl of ice cream while watching "Independence Day" from the comfort of my big round chair in the middle of my living room. Today, took me back to the surf for a few hours in the water.  It was crowded but it's always great to feel the saltwater on my skin!

Profession Tide Pool: Entering the food chain!

I am currently working on two episodes of season four of the multi-award winning series "Ocean Hunter".  I produced, directed and edited the first two full seasons for Fischer Productions so my heart is really in this one. I designed the logo for this series as well as being the creative director too. I get to work again with my good friend Milton Lawrence, an amazing voice-over talent so I'm psyched!  The episodes I'm working on now follow the Ocean Hunter crew south of the border off Baja to shoot big Yellowtail and Dog-toothed Snapper. The kelp is thick and creepy! You can watch the show Sunday mornings on ESPN. It's breath-hold spearfishing at its best!  I prefer to have a surfboard under me and not know what creatures are swimming below!
